Site Manager – Tier 1 Contractor Location: Catterick Garrison Rate:       £280-£320 per day Start:       April 2026 Duration: 9 months A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager, focussing on external works, to join their team on a healthcare construction project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme delivering critical healthcare infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Overseeing external works packages Coordinate multiple subcontractors, suppliers and site teams Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and company procedures Manage programme delivery and monitor progress against project timelines Maintain high quality standards and ensure compliance with specifications Work closely with the Project Manager and wider project team Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks and progress reporting Manage logistics, materials and site resources effectively Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme delivery Essential Qualifications SMSTS CSCS (Black Card) First Aid at Work Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree desirable) Please email your CV to (url removed), outlining previous experience and availability.
