Site Manager/Senior Site Manager

An established and highly respected regional main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager / Senior Site Manager to deliver a £7m Design & Build new-build care home in Lowestoft. This is a flagship project with a 70-week programme, currently in early stages following demolition works. This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially stable contractor with a strong pipeline of secured projects across the East of England, offering long-term career progression and the chance to work on meaningful, high-quality schemes. Key Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams effectively * Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and site presentation * Monitor programme progress and report to the Project Manager * Ensure compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements * Assist in resolving technical and operational challenges on site Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager with a main contractor * Strong track record delivering new build construction projects * Experience on projects involving complex groundworks, piling, or civils elements is highly desirable * Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills * Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary of £55k–£60k plus car or allowance * Pension, annual bonus, and 25 days holiday * Long-term opportunity with a reputable and growing contractor * Supportive team environment and clear progression opportunities * Freelance applicants will also be considered This role would suit a driven Site Manager based within commutable distance of Lowestoft who is looking to take ownership of a significant project and contribute to a successful delivery
