Site Manager/Working Foreman

Role: Site Manager / Working Foreman Location: WC2H, Central London Start Date: 09/03/26 Duration: 3 months initially, with potential to move onto another project nearby Pay Rate: £280 per shift We are looking for a Site Manager with a strong carpentry / joinery background to oversee a restaurant fit-out project in Central London. The project has already been stripped out and first fix is underway, so the role will involve managing the remaining construction and finishing stages of the build. This is a hands-on role, so the successful manager must be comfortable operating as a Site Manager / Working Foreman, helping drive the project forward while coordinating trades on site. Duties • Day-to-day site management of a restaurant fit-out • Managing subcontractors and coordinating trades • Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with programme • Liaising with the client and project team • Maintaining site standards, quality control and H&S compliance • Assisting on site where required due to the nature of the project Requirements • SMSTS • First Aid • Strong carpentry / joinery background • Experience delivering commercial or hospitality fit-out projects • Ability to manage trades and work in a hands-on environment • Strong organisational and communication skills Additional Information This project is part of a wider programme of work, with another restaurant fit-out project starting nearby in the Strand within the next two weeks, so there is potential for ongoing work if the initial project goes well
