Salary - £28,683.64 plus overtime when needed

Hours - 42.5 per week. Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 16:00 (30 mins unpaid lunch daily)

Saturday - 08:00 till 13:00

Location - Ling Hall Composting Facility, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV23 9HH

This site takes delivery of the local green waste generated from the households of local councils and commercial grounds maintenance companies. The team located at Ling Hall work together to turn this waste into a value added product that can be used within the local agricultural and horticultural markets.

What will you be doing?

Checking incoming wastes, operating a front shovel loader to shred the waste, maintaining compost piles and compost finishing line

Carry out site operations of the compost site day to day activities

Responsible for Site Operations covering composts, leachate management

Responsible for plant and maintenance

Deputise for senior site operator in their absence.

Responsible for plant and associated attachments on all sites, including maintenance.

Operate weighbridge

Checking incoming loads

Windrow turning using a front shovel loader

Litter picking the site

What are we looking for?

Front shovel loader licence or equivalent

Full driving licence

Previous experience in a similar operational manual handling role

Willing to complete CMS training

Health and Safety awareness
