Job Description

* Develop and lead the implementation of asset care programme; maintenance strategies and techniques, condition-based maintenance, reliability best practices and preventative maintenance optimisation etc

* Functional Safety Awareness and knowledge of ATEX Regulations.

* Own the asset register ensuring effective maintenance strategies are in place for critical assets.

* Lead on RCM and FMECA studies.

* Ensure mechanical maintenance and inspections are carried out as per regulatory requirements.

* Drives continuous improvement of reliability and continuous reduction of maintenance costs by structured identification and elimination of issues using ALPs.

* Detailed analysis of leading and lagging Asset Management KPI’s.

* Ensures early identification and resolution of reliability issues by monitoring existing programs, historical trends and KPI data.

* Lead technical problem-solving activities with key stakeholders.

* Lead RCA and failure-finding activities ensuring findings are implemented.

* Develop the capital investment plan for area of responsibility.

* Lead on-time delivery of reliability improvement projects.

Skills Required

* Time served Mechanical Engineer

* Ideally you will be qualified to Degree Level

* Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered status

* Experience within hazardous industries

* NEBOSH certified

* Previous experience of leading a team
