Job Title: Skilled Operatives - Duct Installation (BESS Project) Location: Monk Fryston - SSER BESS Site Sector: Energy Infrastructure Job Type: Temporary Start Date: 02 March 2026 End Date: 03 July 2026 Hours: 07:00 - 17:00 (45 hours per week) Positions Available: 8 Pay Rate: £28.50 per hour (Umbrella / PAYE) Reason for Vacancy: Additional project capacity The Role: We are currently recruiting 8 Skilled Operatives to support duct installation and below-ground infrastructure works on a major Battery Energy Storage (BESS) project in Monk Fryston. This is a hands-on role combining plant operation with groundworks activity as part of the duct installation process. Key Responsibilities: Installation of ducts and below-ground infrastructure Operating excavators or dumpers as required Assisting with trenching, backfilling and associated civils works Supporting site teams with general groundworks tasks Maintaining high standards of health & safety on siteEssential Requirements: CPCS Card (Excavator or Dumper - relevant category) Proven experience in duct installation / below-ground infrastructure Strong understanding of safe systems of workDesirable: Experience working on large-scale electrical or energy installation sites Willingness to work both on and off plant as part of the installation processWhat's on Offer?: Immediate start available Strong hourly rate Opportunity to work on a major energy infrastructure project Consistent 45-hour working weekIf you are qualified, experienced, and available to start immediately, please apply with your CV or get in touch directly to discuss further.
