Location: Godalming, Surrey (Head-Office), Hybrid, and occasional trips into London

Experience: 1–3 years' experience

Reports to: Marketing Creative Director

A bit about the opportunity....

This is a genuine ground-floor opportunity, three brands and a founder's platform, still being shaped, with real room for your creative fingerprints on how they look and feel.

* Serial founder: Our Founder has already built and run multiple businesses, including one with 10 years of trading history behind it, so you're backing proven experience, not a first-time bet

* Guided autonomy: real freedom in execution and ideation, working with our Marketing Creative Director to keep messaging and brand identity unified across accounts

* Startup energy: small, close-knit, collaborative and friendly, not corporate

* Built-in growth: a clear career path, a great step in owning social across every account, and building your own team as we scale

* It's about initiative: no need to tick every box, just be capable, hungry, and quick to learn

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

Core of the role: ideas, strategy, and content that performs. Channel upkeep is part of it, but most of the energy goes into creating, strategising, and directing on-brand social content.

* Develop and execute a content strategy across the platforms best suited to each brand, including emerging platforms, to grow followers, engagement, and reach

* Plan, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality short-form video (Reels, Shorts, vlogs, and more), producing polished content quickly

* Monitor trends and cultural moments, and react quickly with relevant content before the moment passes

* Respond to comments and DMs, build relationships with followers, and collaborate with influencers and local partners

* Manage the full social media calendar end to end

* Analyse performance metrics (engagement, growth, conversions) using platform analytics and ContentStudio, and recommend improvements

* Produce employer branding content, competitor intelligence, and sales enablement content

* Track how our brands show up in AI search and recommendation engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews), not just traditional platforms

* Contribute strong content ideas in campaign and strategy meetings

* Use social media to build hype, grow engagement, and drive sales

* Support and encourage employee advocacy across the wider team

* Support day-to-day posting and channel management when needed

Who You Are

* 1–3 years in social, ideally agency or start-up background

* Hands-on: shoots and edits, not just briefs others

* Flexes across brand voices without losing your own

* Algorithm-literate

* Trend-fluent

* Pro-human, pro-AI: uses AI tools, but craft stays yours

* Self-directed and ownership-minded

* Wants the strategy seat, not just execution

* Experience working with multiple social media platforms based on target audience (Wether it be Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok or Facebook etc…)

The Stack

* Scheduling & planning: ContentStudio, Milanote and similar

* Creatives and creating: Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro/Rush, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator etc), Express, Firefly, CapCut

* AI-assisted: Claude/ChatGPT for scripts and captions assistance, Runway/Kling/Midjourney/Nano Banana for concept work
