You’ll work within a Family Safeguarding model, supporting children and families through structured, relationship-led interventions.
This approach brings together professionals to address risk factors such as domestic abuse, substance misuse, and mental health, helping families stay safely together wherever possible.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload across Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP)
* Undertake assessments and care planning
* Work closely with families to reduce risk and improve outcomes
* Collaborate with multi-agency and specialist professionals
* Apply a strengths-based, relationship-focused approach
* Maintain high-quality case recording and reporting
✅ What we’re looking for
* Qualified Social Worker
* Experience within Children’s Safeguarding teams
* Strong understanding of risk assessment and intervention planning
* Ability to build effective relationships with families
* Confident working within a multi-disciplinary environment
