An exciting opportunity for a motivated Solar Electrician with strong technical knowledge of Solar PV to join a growing renewable energy business offering fantastic progression opportunities. You'll take ownership of installations, work alongside and support an apprentice and develop your skills within a close-knit team, with a clear path for career development.
This isn't just another electrician role. You'll be joining an established solar firm with strong foundations, an ambitious team and an exciting pipeline of domestic and commercial projects heading into 2027. With significant growth on the horizon, they're looking for someone eager to learn, develop their technical expertise and become a key part of the company's future.
As a Solar Electrician, your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out domestic and commercial Solar PV installations across Cheltenham and surrounding areas
* Working alongside an apprentice, providing technical guidance and support on installations
* Completing inverter connections, electrical testing, inspection and commissioning
* Taking ownership of installations, resolving technical issues and ensuring high-quality delivery
The successful Solar Electrician should have:
* Hands-on Solar PV installation experience with strong technical knowledge of solar systems
* NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and relevant electrical qualifications
* Ability to work independently, interpret electrical drawings and support an apprentice
* Full UK driving licence, a proactive attitude and the ambition to learn and progress
