Solar PV Electrician – Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance Location: Bridgend, South Wales Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 Full-time | Permanent About the Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Solar PV Electrician to join our growing team. The role involves working across a range of residential and commercial projects, installing and commissioning solar PV systems, battery storage, and associated electrical infrastructure. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and wants to be part of a forward-thinking renewable energy company. Occasional working away for short periods may be required, depending on project location. Key Responsibilities * Installation and commissioning of solar PV inverters and battery storage systems * Carrying out service, maintenance, and inspection works on existing systems * Installation of AC supplies, containment, and cable runs * Fault finding, testing, and troubleshooting of PV and battery systems * Completing commissioning documentation and handover packs * Ensuring all work complies with BS 7671, MCS standards, and health & safety requirements Requirements * Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) * 18th Edition (BS 7671) * Valid CSCS or ECS card (required) * Experience in solar PV and/or battery storage systems (preferred) * Strong understanding of electrical installations and testing procedures * Full UK driving licence Desirable (but not essential): * Experience with SolarEdge systems * Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) * Previous experience in commercial PV installations What We Offer * Company van & fuel card * Weekly pay * Overtime opportunities * Performance-related bonuses * Clear opportunities for career progression within the company * Ongoing training and development in renewable technologies * Opportunity to grow within a fast-expanding solar company Why Join Us?
