Soldering & Assembly Technician 📍 Crayford, Kent 💰 £24,857.32 per annum rising to £27,016.41 after successful probation 🕒 Permanent | Full-Time | 38.25 hours per week (Friday afternoons off) Apex Resources are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client based in Crayford, Kent. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Soldering & Assembly Technician to join their production team. Key Responsibilities * Assemble electronic products within a manufacturing environment * Hand solder wires to printed circuit boards * Cut and prepare cables for assembly * Mix and fill assemblies using two-part resins * Test products at various stages of the production process * Read and follow assembly drawings and wiring diagrams * Identify and report production issues to the team leader * Maintain high quality standards and a safe working environment Candidate Requirements * Previous soldering or electronics assembly experience * Ability to read assembly drawings and wiring diagrams * Good manual dexterity and attention to detail * Experience using basic hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, soldering iron) * Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines * Strong communication and teamwork skills Working Hours Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00 Friday: 07:00 – 11:15 Salary & Benefits * £24,857.32 starting salary rising to £27,016.41 after probation * 4% company pension contribution * Health cash plan (after probation) * 10 days full sick pay (after probation) * Discretionary company bonus based on company performance Apply If you have experience in soldering, electronics assembly or electrical manufacturing, we would welcome your application.
