Sous Chef
The role is full-time, working 5 days out of 7, with a salary of £37,000.00 per year plus paid overtime.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Preparing and presenting high-quality Italian dishes to a consistent standard.
Helping to lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team during service.
Maintaining strong food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards.
Assisting with stock control, ordering, waste management and food costs.
Contributing ideas for menus, specials and seasonal dishes.
Working closely with front of house to help deliver a great guest experience.
Experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie in a busy restaurant kitchen.
A genuine passion for Italian food, fresh ingredients and quality cooking.
A hands-on approach with the confidence to support and guide a team.
Good knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and kitchen compliance.
The ability to stay calm, organised and positive during busy services.
Right to work in the UK.
