The Role:

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Head Chef in running a high-volume kitchen
Lead service and take charge in the Head Chef’s absence
Oversee food preparation and ensure consistent quality
Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs
Maintain high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness
Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen culture

About You:

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment
Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
Passionate about fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Flexible with working hours and shifts
This is a permanent, full-time position, ideally suited to a chef ready for their next step in a dynamic coastal kitchen.
