Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Position details:
· Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to start ASAP or September
· Long-term role with scope to become permanent, based on your performance
· Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
· Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
· Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will have:
· At least 3 months' experience supporting children or young people with SEN, particularly Autism and learning difficulties
· Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
· A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs
· The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
· A genuine passion for helping pupils achieve their full potential
You will need:
· A fully enhanced DBS
· Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
· Experience supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs
