Speech & Language Therapist (SALT) – SEND Tribunal Assessment

We are seeking an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to undertake a specialist assessment to support a SEND Tribunal case for a Local Authority in the North of England.

This is a one-off, high-quality piece of work requiring a confident clinician with strong assessment and report-writing skills.

The Role

You will:

* Undertake a face-to-face assessment of a child/young person within an educational setting

* Complete a comprehensive evaluation of:

* Receptive and expressive communication

* Social communication

* Speech / phonology

* Attention and listening

* Engage with key stakeholders (family and education staff)

Reporting Requirements

You will produce a Tribunal-ready report, including:

* Summary of needs

* Assessment findings

* Functional impact within education

* Clear, quantified recommendations (frequency, duration, delivery)

Requirements

* HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist

* Experience working with children and young people with SEND

* Strong report writing skills

* Ability to deliver within tight timescales
