SEND Teaching Assistant - Full Time (Immediate Start) Long-term role TimePlan Education are currently recruiting multiple dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in Reading. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting immediately, with the potential to continue beyond Easter. About the Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support Assist pupils with a variety of additional needs in and out of the classroom Support learning, communication, and emotional development Work closely with teachers and specialist staff to deliver personalised support Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment Needs Supported You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD, SLD, PMLD) Visual and Hearing Impairments (VI, HI, MSI) Physical Disabilities (PD) Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) Other associated needs What We're Looking For Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school, care, or youth work settings) A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Why Work with TimePlan Education?
