Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible
Start Date: Immediate starts available
Salary: £100-£140 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
About the Opportunity
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking energetic and committed Sports Coaches to work across a range of secondary schools throughout North Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, build relationships within local schools, and develop your career in education or coaching.
Whether you're an experienced coach or looking to transition into education, this role offers a great platform to make a real difference in young people's lives through sport, physical activity, and teamwork.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Delivering engaging and inclusive sports and PE sessions
* Supporting PE departments across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Leading or assisting with after-school clubs and extracurricular activities
* Encouraging participation, confidence, and healthy lifestyles among students
* Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Supporting wider school activities when required
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in sports coaching or working with secondary-aged students
* Coaching qualifications (desirable, but not essential)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Confidence working with students across KS3 and KS4
* A flexible, proactive, and reliable approach
* A genuine passion for sport and inspiring young people
