Sprinkler Design Engineer

White Label is working with a fire protection engineering company in West Yorkshire that require a Sprinkler Design Engineer to join their growing team. As the Sprinkler Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing detailed sprinkler and water mist system designs for a range of residential and commercial projects, including high-rise buildings, hotels, schools, and care facilities. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements. My client is offering a salary of £70,000 - £90,000 depending on experience. * Working hours 9 – 5pm Monday – Friday * Possibility of 1-day WFH per week * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * On-site parking * On-site gym * Opportunities for training and career progression Responsibilities of the Sprinkler Design Engineer * Produce detailed fire sprinkler and water mist system designs using AutoCAD * Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to develop accurate system layouts * Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations * Work closely with project teams and clients to deliver design solutions for a range of building types * Support project delivery by ensuring designs meet required specifications and deadlines * Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design function * Adapt designs and documentation where project requirements change Experience required of the Sprinkler Design Engineer * Previous experience designing fire sprinkler systems * Knowledge of LPC Rules, BS EN 12845 and BS 9251 standards * Proficient in AutoCAD * Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks would be advantageous If you’re interested in the role or would like more information, please apply now or get in touch for a confidential discussion
