We are working with an innovative, high-growth technology business specialising in advanced semiconductor solutions and next-generation touch technologies. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Staff System Validation Engineer to support product development, system validation and customer integration.
This is a senior technical position combining hands-on electronics engineering, hardware development and international customer engagement, with responsibility for providing technical leadership across multiple teams.
The Role - Staff System Validation Engineer - Fareham, Hampshire
* Lead technical activities to ensure successful integration of products into customer devices.
* Provide technical support to global customers, both remotely and on-site.
* Support regional application teams with technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
* Participate in product development, testing and system validation.
* Design and develop electronic circuits, hardware and prototype tooling.
* Gather customer feedback to influence future product development.
* Produce technical documentation and support product releases.
* Coordinate project activities, planning and progress reporting.
* Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
About You - Staff System Validation Engineer - Fareham, Hampshire
We are looking for someone with approximately 10–30 years of relevant experience in electronics engineering, system validation, hardware development or a similar technical field.
You will ideally have:
* A degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
* Strong understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles.
* Experience with electronic circuit design and prototype development.
* Practical Python scripting experience.
* Exposure to software development and system testing.
* Experience supporting international customers and product integration.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to provide technical guidance.
* Flexibility to travel internationally when required.
Desirable Experience - Staff System Validation Engineer - Fareham, Hampshire
* Capacitive touch technology or HMI systems.
* Semiconductor or IC product development.
* Hardware and software integration.
* Development of test equipment and evaluation tools.
