Steel Erector

We are recruiting a Steel Erector to join a Northampton-based manufacturer of industrial capital equipment. The role involves the on-site assembly and installation of large steel structures and machinery frames produced in-house. This position would suit someone with a strong background in structural steel erection or heavy mechanical installation. The Role * Erecting and assembling steel structures and equipment frames * Working from engineering drawings and method statements * Using MEWPs, cranes, and lifting equipment to position components * Bolting, aligning, and securing structural assemblies * Working both in the workshop and on customer sites as required * Following all health and safety procedures at all times The Ideal Candidate * Proven experience as a Steel Erector or in a similar structural role * Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings * Comfortable working at height and in industrial environments * Valid CSCS card preferred * Experience using lifting equipment and working alongside crane operations * Strong safety awareness and team-focused attitude What’s On Offer * Competitive pay depending on experience * Overtime available * Long-term, stable employment * Opportunity to work on large-scale industrial equipment projects * Supportive and professional working environment ONLY APPLICANTS WITH CURRENT ELIGIBILITY TO WORK IN THE UK NEED APPLY AS NO SPONSORSHIP IS ON OFFER FOR THIS ROLE
