As a STEM Tutor Milton Keynes, you'll teach small groups of just 4-6 pupils, allowing you to truly tailor your lessons and build meaningful relationships. You'll bring science to life through engaging, adaptive teaching that nurtures curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
This role goes beyond traditional teaching,you'll play a key part in supporting students' emotional and academic development, helping them overcome barriers and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, creative STEM lessons tailored to individual needs
Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of SEN requirements
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
Build strong, trusting relationships with students
Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
Encourage curiosity, independence, and self-confidence
What We're Looking For
Proven experience working with SEN students (essential)
Strong understanding of ASD, SEMH, or trauma-informed approaches
A patient, empathetic, and resilient teaching style
Ability to think creatively and adapt quickly
