Stock Controller Wholesale / Cash & Carry We are looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Stock Controller to join our clients fast-paced wholesale market operation. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the business, ensuring stock accuracy, smooth financial reconciliation, and clear information flow across departments. Working in a dynamic market environment, you’ll play a key role in maintaining stock integrity, supporting sales operations, and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for. Key Responsibilities * Book in incoming stock accurately and efficiently * Generate and issue invoices for all sales transactions * Reconcile daily sales against stock movement and invoicing records * Monitor and investigate discrepancies in stock and financial records * Count and reconcile cash transactions, always ensuring accuracy * Maintain up-to-date stock records and reporting systems * Liaise with sales, warehouse, and accounts teams to ensure smooth information flow * Support stock counts and audits, both routine and ad hoc About You * Previous experience in a wholesale, market, or cash & carry environment is highly desirable * Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail * Confident handling cash and financial reconciliation processes * Able to spot discrepancies and resolve issues proactively * Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting * Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team * Good communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach In return * A stable role in a busy and growing wholesale environment * Opportunity to take ownership of stock control processes * Supportive team and collaborative working environment
