Storeman Location: Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire Salary: £16.50 – £17.50 per hour (depending on experience) Type: Ongoing / Temp to Perm About the Role We are currently recruiting for a reliable and organised Storeman on behalf of our client, a well-established property maintenance company based in Bishop’s Stortford. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated individual to support their busy operations team. This is an excellent opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and the potential to secure a permanent position. Key Responsibilities * Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries * Issuing materials, tools, and equipment to operatives * Maintaining accurate stock records * Organising and keeping the stores area clean, tidy, and safe * Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages * Coordinating with site teams and management * Assisting with general yard and stores duties as required Requirements * Previous experience in a stores / warehouse / storeperson role (construction or maintenance preferred) * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Basic IT skills for stock control systems * Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential) * Valid UK driving licence (must be able to drive a van) What’s on Offer * Overtime available * Stable, long-term opportunity * Supportive team environment * Temp-to-perm potential If you're interested, please contact Louis
