Apply NowOur client is a long-established and highly respected engineering company based near Diss. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Stores Person to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid stores or warehouse background who enjoys working in a busy engineering environment.
Duties will include:
* Receiving and booking in goods
* Goods out and dispatch of finished products
* Picking orders and supplying parts and components to the workshop
* Moving, storing and organising stock
* Stock control and general stores duties
* Manual handling
* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (where required)
The successful candidate will have:
* A strong and stable work history within a stores or warehouse environment
* Experience of goods in, goods out, order picking and supplying production or workshop teams
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to carry out manual handling duties
* A current Counterbalance Forklift licence would be an advantage, although not essential
* A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude

* Monday to Friday hours, 8:00am – 4:30pm
* Up to £15.00 per hour
