Stores Supervisor

The Role As the Stores Supervisor, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the stores department, ensuring efficient material flow to support production. You will be responsible for inventory control, stock accuracy, goods-in management, and overseeing a small team to maintain high standards of organisation, safety, and performance. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong leadership, excellent attention to detail, and experience within an electronics or manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities * Oversee daily stores operations, including goods-in, goods-out, kitting, and material replenishment * Lead, motivate, and develop a small stores team, ensuring high performance and strong teamwork * Maintain accurate stock records and manage cycle counting activities * Ensure all materials are stored, labelled, and handled correctly to support traceability * Work closely with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure materials are available on time * Monitor and improve stores processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste * Ensure compliance with health & safety and ESD handling procedures * Operate and manage ERP/MRP systems for stock control and inventory management * Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department About You * Proven experience in a Stores Supervisor or Senior Stores/Materials role within manufacturing (electronics preferred) * Strong leadership and communication skills * Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail * Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems * Counterbalance and/or reach truck licence (desirable) * Knowledge of ESD and component handling (advantageous) * A proactive, “can-do” mindset with the ability to drive improvements
