Streetworks Coordinator

An opportunity has arisen for a Streetworks Permitting Officer/Coordinator to join a client in Buckinghamshire. You will be responsible for the coordination and the monitoring of street and road works in accordance with the NRSWA and the Traffic Management Act in order to minimise inconvenience and disruption on the public highway, as well as processing and issuing permits to contractors and overseeing work orders.   This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £30 - £32 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Flexible working arrangements are available.   Main duties include: ·Coordination and monitoring of road and street works on the public highway ·Processing and issuing permits to contractors and statutory undertakers ·Addressing non-compliance and contribute to the ongoing service improvement projects ·Liaising with external contractors, streetworks inspectors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth work delivery   Previous experience in Streetworks is essential for this role.
