Sub-Agent/Site Agent
We are currently looking for an experienced Agent or Sub-Agent to join a major civil engineering project based in North Coast of Scotland for an immediate start. This is initially a minimum 3-month contract, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity for candidates who would be willing to transfer and work on projects in Orkney thereafter.
The Role
You will be supporting the delivery of key civil engineering works, initially overseeing:
Duct installation works
Small concrete structure packages
Coordination and supervision of site activities
Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme
Liaising with the existing Site Agent and wider project team
You will be working alongside an experienced Agent who is beginning work on another project, making this an excellent opportunity to take ownership of work fronts and make an immediate impact.
Requirements
Previous experience as an Agent or Sub-Agent within civil engineering projects
Strong understanding of earthworks, utilities, ducting, and concrete works
Ability to manage subcontractors and supervise site operations
Good communication and organisational skills
Valid CSCS card (essential)
SMSTS/SSSTS preferred
