Supplier Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer | Generous Pension | 33 Days Holiday | Early Friday Finish A Supplier Quality Engineer opportunity with an established manufacturing business operating within a highly regulated engineering sector. With continued growth and increasing collaboration across the supply chain, the business is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to strengthen supplier performance, improve incoming quality standards and support operational reliability. Supplier Quality Engineer responsibilities include - * Managing supplier quality performance including non-conformances, corrective actions and improvement activities. * Leading root cause investigations with suppliers using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D and 5 Why. * Conducting supplier audits and supporting supplier development initiatives to improve capability and compliance. * Reviewing supplier documentation including PPAP submissions, control plans and quality records. * Working closely with internal manufacturing, engineering and procurement teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues. * Monitoring supplier KPIs and implementing improvement plans to reduce defects and improve delivery performance. Supplier Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience - * Experience in a Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Engineer or Supplier Development role within manufacturing. * Strong knowledge of supplier quality management, corrective actions and root cause analysis. * Experience working within ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality management systems. * Experience supporting supplier audits, supplier development or supplier performance improvement.
