Supply QA Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer Job Summary We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join a busy Supply Chain team based in Taunton. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving supplier performance, validating new suppliers and supporting purchasing activities. This role requires strong supplier management capability, process improvement experience and a proactive approach to driving Supply Chain excellence. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site supplier audits Validate and approve new suppliers Process purchase orders through the ERP system Manage, process and close supplier non‑compliances Identify and assess potential new suppliers Expedite supplier deliveries to meet business requirements Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to achieve cost‑effective outcomes Skills & Qualifications HNC or equivalent in a technical discipline Minimum 3 years’ hands‑on ERP experience, with strong understanding of Warehouse/Materials Management & Planning Experience using supplier scorecards and vendor management techniques Minimum 3 years’ continuous improvement experience Strong computer literacy Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt (desirable) Internal Auditor certification (desirable) Experience within a manufacturing environment (desirable) Full UK driving licence (essential) Suitable Backgrounds Candidates may come from roles such as: Production Engineer Quality Engineer Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer Or similar roles within Purchasing or Supply Chain functions For more information regarding the position or to discuss any other opportunities, please call  (phone number removed) and ask to speak to Adam or email  (url removed)   Allocation Number : INDTB
