Your new role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students with a range of special educational needs (SEN) including autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs
Assist the class teacher with delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Provide 1:1 or small group support tailored to individual student needs
Help manage behaviour in line with the school's policies
Promote a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
Understanding of additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility and reliability for supply work
A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
