Support Driver - Utilities
Are you a Support Driver experienced in transporting materials for utility projects, and supporting operational teams? If so, then read on! Our client is a leading national utility company who have recently been awarded a long-term gas framework contract. To facilitate the operational support team, they are looking for a dependable Support Driver provide essential transport and site support based out of the depot in Chessington. £140-£160 per day | Company Vehicle + Fuel | Pension | 28 Days Holiday | Long-Term Project Pipeline Support Driver Key Essentials: * As Support Driver your role will involve assisting teams by transporting materials and equipment (signs, barriers and fittings) to and from multiple work sites ensuring continuity of operations * Supporting site teams with site set up / clear up, timely deliveries and collections to maintain productivity * Assisting with Stores Manager, when not driving, including yard support and logistics coordination * Ensuring all sites are kept clean and presentable at all times * Maintaining a safe working environment, prior to works commencing and following completion * Minimising disruption to residents’ at all times whist representing the company in a professional manner Support Driver Requirements: * Physically fit (due to the nature of the role) with previous experience as a Support Driver in the utilities industry * Full UK driving licence with towing capabilities (Essential) * Qualified with NRSWA Units 1 & 2 (Signing, Lighting & Guarding) * Strong work ethic with good organisational skills and a reliable and proactive attitude The hours of work are 6.00am to 4.00pm (Monday to Friday) #utilities #utility #gas #nrswa #streetwork #infrastructure #supportdriver #backupdriver #driverjobs #civils #logistics #transport #delivery By applying for this position, you are agreeing for CVL:LDN to hold and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
