Support Worker

Romford

£25,845 per annum (pro rata)

Full-time hours available

We are recruiting Support Workers for our Neave Crescent service, a residential facility comprising two bungalows. The service users have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs, and high support requirements. The majority of residents are wheelchair users requiring hoist assistance for transfers. Additionally, one individual receives nutrition via PEG feeding, and another has a stoma.

Key responsibilities may include:

Supporting residents to participate fully in daily living activities, including community engagement and external activities.

Facilitating social activities and maintaining connections with family and friends.

Assisting with financial management for service users.

Maintaining a clean and hygienic living environment, and undertaking shopping duties.

Providing and promoting personal care.

Demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to the role.

Previous experience in social care is not essential. We provide comprehensive accredited training programmes at no cost, including the Health and Social Care Diploma, to support your professional development.
