Support Worker – Learning Disabilities Support Worker – Supported Living Somerset & Surrounding Areas | £12.21–£13.50 per hour | Day & Night Shifts Available 1Four1 Recruitment is currently recruiting Support Workers to work within supported living services across Somerset and surrounding areas. This role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a supported living environment. You will be working with individuals who may have conditions such as autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and Down’s syndrome, helping them live as independently as possible while maintaining dignity and choice in their daily lives. As a Support Worker, no two days are the same. You will support individuals with everyday activities, community engagement and personal care while working closely with a dedicated care team to provide safe, person-centred support. Key Responsibilities * Support individuals with daily living activities in a supported living environment * Assist with personal care where required * Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing * Support individuals with social activities, outings and community engagement * Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans * Work collaboratively with the wider support team to ensure high standards of care * Provide compassionate and respectful support tailored to individual needs Requirements * Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant * Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or complex needs * Comfortable supporting individuals with personal care where required * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Reliable, compassionate and able to work well as part of a team * Able to work the advertised shift patterns About 1Four1 Recruitment 1Four1 Recruitment is a Crawley-based recruitment agency supporting healthcare providers across the South East.
