We're looking for a Support Worker to join our Young People's Service, supporting 18-24-year-olds, including young people leaving care and those who have experienced homelessness.

This is a semi-independent housing service, meaning you'll provide support and guidance rather than personal care.

You'll help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and move towards independent living, making a real difference to their future.

What You'll Be Doing

* Supporting young people to achieve their goals and live independently

* Completing support plans, risk assessments, and regular reviews

* Helping with everyday life skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and managing a tenancy

* Encouraging engagement with education, employment, training, and community services

* Working with external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for young people

* Keeping accurate records and maintaining safeguarding standards

* Working both independently and as part of a supportive team

Shift Pattern

This role works on a 2-week rolling rota, including:

* Weekday shifts

* Approximately one weekend shift per week

* Some Bank Holiday working

* No sleep-ins required

Additional Information

* Enhanced DBS check required

* Full driving licence preferred but not essential

* Travel to training in Houghton Regis and occasionally other Hertfordshire locations will be required
