Sustainability Manager
Sustainability Manager - Dubai, UAE (Single Status) Key Responsibilities: - Strategy & Compliance: Develop sustainability plans and ensure compliance with environmental legislation. - Environmental Assessments: Conduct site assessments, carbon footprint analysis, and manage certifications such as LEED or BREEAM. - Operational Optimization: Advise on low-carbon technologies, renewable energy, and sustainable, responsibly sourced materials. - Waste Management: Create and implement zero-waste, recycling, and composting programs. - Project Management & Collaboration: Work with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to integrate green practices. - Reporting & Data Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on key environmental performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management. - Training & Education: Develop training initiatives for staff on sustainability policies. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Degree in environmental science, engineering, construction management, or a related field. - Experience: Typically requires 10 years of experience in construction, project management, or sustainability auditing. - Technical Knowledge: Proficient in environmental impact assessment tools, green building standards, and sustainable building materials. - Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication, and collaborative abilities. - Experience in site-based construction roles or environmental consultancy.
