KS5 SEN Teacher – Full Time – Immediate Start UET1 A specialist education provision in the SE16 area of South London is seeking a dedicated KS5 SEN Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis with an immediate start. The school supports post-16 students with special educational needs (SEN), providing a structured and supportive environment to help learners develop academically, socially, and prepare for adulthood. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting older students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve their full potential. Role Responsibilities * Plan and deliver engaging KS5 lessons tailored to students with SEN. * Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities, including EHCPs and neurodiverse profiles. * Support students with transition planning, independent learning skills, and post-school preparation. * Build positive relationships with students to improve engagement, confidence, and participation. * Work collaboratively with support staff and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic development. * Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential. * Experience teaching post-16/Sixth Form students with SEN is highly desirable. * Strong classroom management and communication skills. * Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education.
