A specialist education provision in the Merton area of South West London is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis starting in April.
This setting supports pupils with additional learning needs, providing a structured and nurturing environment where students are supported both academically and socially. The successful candidate will be passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and thrive within a supportive school environment.
Role Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Key Stage 2 lessons tailored to meet a range of learning needs.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Work closely with support staff and other professionals to ensure pupils receive the best possible support.
* Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies where necessary.
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage student confidence and engagement.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
* Experience teaching Key Stage 2.
* Experience working with SEN or additional learning needs is desirable.
* Strong classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
* A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach to teaching.
Salary: Paid to scale
