Secondary English & Maths Teacher – Full Time – Immediate Start UET1 A specialist education provision in the Tooting area of South West London is seeking a committed Secondary English & Maths Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis with an immediate start. This setting supports students with special educational needs and additional learning needs, providing a structured and supportive environment designed to help young people build confidence, develop key skills, and re-engage positively with education. Role Responsibilities * Plan and deliver engaging English and Maths lessons to secondary-aged students. * Adapt teaching methods to meet a range of learning needs and abilities. * Support students’ academic progress while encouraging confidence and engagement. * Work closely with support staff and other professionals to ensure students receive appropriate support. * Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive classroom environment. Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential. * Experience teaching English and/or Maths at secondary level. * Experience working with SEN or additional learning needs is highly desirable. * Strong classroom management and communication skills. * A patient, adaptable and supportive approach.
