Teacher of Science Start date: 13th April Closing Date: 3rd April Salary: MPS -UPS, Suitable for ECT’s Location: Central Derby Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large Multi Academy Trust across Derbyshire, to support with their search for a Teacher of Science. The ideal candidate would have: Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with Biology, Chemistry and Physics backgrounds welcome Understanding and application of the curriculum and strategies to raise standards across the ability range through effective teaching and learning Holds QTS The role and responsibilities: Full-Time, fixed-term contract 20 hours teaching, 5 hours PPA Track students’ progress and use assessment information to inform teaching and learning Assist in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in the curriculum/learning area All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
