SEN Teachers & Learning Support Assistants in Portsmouth Pay: Learning Support Assistants: £14.20 per hour Teachers: MPS/UPS (£32,916 – £51,048) Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Multiple roles available  About the Roles: Teaching Personnel are working with SEND schools and specialist provisions across the Portsmouth area to recruit qualified Teachers and Learning Support Assistants. We have several vacancies available for immediate start, offering fantastic opportunities for candidates who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs. Schools are well-supported, community-focused, and easily accessible from areas across North Hampshire. Role Responsibilities: Teachers: Deliver engaging, SEND-focussed lessons tailored to individual pupil needs Assess, track, and report on pupil progress Work closely with LSA's, SENCO's, and the wider school team Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment Learning Support Assistants (LSAs): Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing behaviour Support children with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs Help create a nurturing, positive classroom environment Who We’re Looking For: Qualified Teachers (QTS or equivalent) Experienced LSA's or Teaching Assistants Individuals passionate about working within SEND settings Candidates who hold an enhanced child-only DBS (or are willing to obtain one) Why Work With Teaching Personnel?
