Teaching Assistant (TA2) – Behaviour Support (Year 4) Location: Bispham Start Date: After the Easter break (April 2026) Contract: Full-time, long-term Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience. £14.20 per hour.  Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an experienced TA2 to support a child in Year 4 with challenging behaviour at a well-regarded primary school in Bispham. This is a rewarding, full-time role beginning immediately after the Easter holidays. The Role The successful candidate will: Provide consistent 1:1 support to a child with behavioural needs Use de-escalation and behaviour management strategies effectively Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo and wider support team Assist with emotional regulation and engagement with learning Help create a calm, structured and positive environment Follow individual behaviour plans and contribute to ongoing reviews What We’re Looking For Applicants should have: Proven experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour Strong resilience, patience and confidence in behaviour management A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff A calm, consistent and empathetic approach The School Offers A supportive, inclusive and welcoming staff team Guidance from experienced senior leaders and SEND specialists Opportunities for professional growth and CPD A chance to make a real difference to a child’s school experience Why Choose Teaching Personnel?
