Teaching Assistant

Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Bolton (BL3) Pay: £103.95-£110 per day Start Date: April 2026 Contract Type: Full-time (Term Time Only) About the Role Support pupils' learning, provide one-to-one and small group assistance, and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons Provide targeted support to pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis Assist with classroom management and behaviour support Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources Support pupils with additional needs where required Encourage student participation and promote a positive learning atmosphere The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable) A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 TA) are advantageous but not essential What We Offer Competitive daily pay (£103.95-£110) Supportive leadership and staff team Opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience Potential for longer-term or permanent opportunities If you are a motivated Teaching Assistant ready to make a positive impact in a Bolton school this April, we would love to hear from you.
