Teaching Assistant
Year 3 Teaching Assistant - Westminster (Long-Term Role) Academics are currently supporting a primary school in Westminster that is seeking an experienced Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team for the Summer Term (April 2026 - July 2026). Their curriculum is broad and engaging, allowing pupils to develop academically, socially, and personally. Role Details Location: Primary school in Westminster Start Date: March 2026 (Long term contract) Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Pay: £95-£97 per day (dependent on experience)Responsibilities Working alongside the class teacher to provide general classroom support where required. Assisting the class teacher in adapting classroom activities and resources to meet the needs of all learners. Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups when required. Helping pupils develop key academic and social skills while encouraging active participation in learning. Supporting the management of behaviour and promoting positive engagement in lessons. Delivering small group interventions and supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND.Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must: Have previous experience working with children in a UK primary school or educational setting (supported by references). Have strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage pupils in both 1:1 and small group settings. Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills, particularly within Key Stage 2. Possess good literacy and numeracy skills. Be familiar with the UK National Curriculum.
