Experienced Teaching Assistant – Full Time Location: Bournemouth Start Date: April 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and reliable Teaching Assistant to work full time within a welcoming primary school in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed TA who is confident supporting learning across the primary age range and is passionate about helping pupils thrive both academically and personally. The Role As a full-time Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include: Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons Working with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning Providing additional support to pupils with varying needs, including SEN Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons Monitoring and feeding back on pupil progress You will play an important role in creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience working in a primary school setting Be confident supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills Be patient, adaptable and proactive Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development Relevant TA qualifications are desirable but not essential for candidates with strong school-based experience.
