Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant - Portsmouth Prospero Teaching is recruiting a friendly, proactive Teaching Assistant to join welcoming schools in Portsmouth. This is role entails supporting pupils throughout the school day - from helping in the classroom to leading small‑group activities and providing 1:1 support when needed. You'll work alongside teachers to create a positive learning environment, help pupils stay engaged with their work, and provide additional guidance to children who benefit from a little extra support. Every day is different, making this role ideal for anyone who enjoys variety and meaningful interaction with young learners. This position suits individuals with experience in schools, childcare, tutoring, youth work, mentoring, or graduates looking to gain valuable school‑based experience before teaching, educational psychology, or further study.
