Teaching Assistant - Secondary School Outskirts of Kettering, Northamptonshire Full-time | Term-time only | Via Tradewind Recruitment Pay: £92-£95 per day Start date: ASAP Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming secondary school located on the outskirts of Kettering. This is a full-time, term-time only role with an immediate start available, and would suit someone who is passionate about supporting young people and keen to gain further experience within a secondary school setting. The school has a supportive leadership team and a strong behaviour policy in place. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers and the SEN department to support students aged 11-16, both in lessons and through small group or one-to-one support. The role will involve: Supporting pupils in class across a range of subjects Working with small groups and individual students Providing support for students with additional learning needs where required Helping to maintain a positive and focused learning environment Assisting teachers with preparation of classroom resources The ideal candidate will: Have experience working with young people (school experience desirable but not essential) Be patient, reliable and adaptable Have good communication and teamwork skills Hold GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) Be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check Why work with Tradewind Recruitment?
