Teaching Assistant
Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire Employer: Tradewind Recruitment (on behalf of a Secondary School in Kettering) Job Type: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP / September Start Available Salary: £92 - £95 per day (dependent on experience) Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Kettering Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Kettering, Northamptonshire. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday during term time. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the SEN team to support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping to ensure that all learners are able to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Supporting students in the classroom across a range of subjects Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who require additional support Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) where required Helping maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting (desirable but not essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A patient, supportive and adaptable approach to working with students The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team A passion for supporting young people in their learning and development Requirements Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) Right to work in the UK Ability to provide references covering the last two years About Tradewind Recruitment Tradewind Recruitment is one of the UK's leading education recruitment agencies, supporting schools across the country with high-quality teaching and support staff.
