Tradewind Recruitment are seeking caring, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream primary schools, supporting children with additional needs.
This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a vital part in helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within an inclusive classroom environment.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs (including SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD)
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Support pupils with their social, emotional, and academic development
Implement targeted interventions and personalised learning strategies
Help to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with children with additional needs in a school or similar setting
Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
Be proactive and able to adapt to individual pupil needs
Hold a relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
