The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils in their learning and development. You will help create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Supporting pupils with their learning across the primary curriculum
* Working with individuals and small groups to provide additional support
* Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and preparation
* Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development
* Helping to maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
* Providing additional support to pupils who may have SEND or additional learning needs
* Encouraging positive behaviour and building strong relationships with pupils
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children, ideally within a school or education setting
* Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
* Has a patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
* Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Is reliable, proactive and adaptable
* Works well as part of a team
* Has a genuine commitment to helping children achieve their potential
