The Role As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will: Support students aged 11–16 in lessons across a range of subjects Work 1:1 or with small groups to boost progress Assist teachers with behaviour management and classroom routines Provide academic support to students who need additional guidance Gain first‑hand experience working alongside qualified teachers and department leads This role is ideal preparation for a PGCE, SCITT, or School‑Based Teacher Training route. What We’re Looking For A recent graduate (any subject considered) Aspiring teachers or those planning to start a PGCE in the future Confident, enthusiastic, and eager to work with young people Experience working with children/teenagers (tutoring, coaching, mentoring) is beneficial but not essential Reliable, proactive, and keen to learn Job Details Location: Old Trafford and surrounding South Manchester secondary schools Start Date: September 2026 Hours: Full‑time, Mon–Fri (school hours) Contract: Long‑term academic year role Pay: Starting at £92.95 (from April 2026) Why Choose Teaching Personnel?
